Samsung Galaxy Nexus NFC with android Beam, embedded secure element and swpSamsung Galaxy Nexus NFC

The successor of the Nexus S. The Near Field Communication solution (NXP PN65N chip) used in the Nexus S will now be used on the Galaxy Nexus. That means an embedded secure element and SWP. So this handset is very suitable for Google Wallet.

Now we are very curious what Verizon does with NFC !
Verizon is an ISIS partner, like AT&T. Last week we saw a disabled chip on the AT&T’s Galaxy S II.

I bought a Samsung Google Galaxy Nexus and intend make it emulate a mifare card. Research shows I need to put it to Card Emulation mode but somehow this mode cannot be turn on. I’m stuck and wish to seek for advice to see how I could proceed from here.

The card-emulation-mode uses the secure element. Manufacturers must provide a key/code to get access. Nobody can just make an app to enable it.
