Nokia 808 PureView + NFC

Nokia 808 PureView + NFC

A high-end NFC enabled smartphone focused on imaging. The Nokia 808 Pureview is a MasterCard PayPass compatible SWP Handset and it has an 4″ display.
This Symbian Belle handset features a large, high-resolution 41 megapixel sensor with high-performance Carl Zeiss optics and new pixel oversampling technology.
“this means the ability to zoom without loss of clarity and capture seven pixels of information, condensing into one pixel for the sharpest images imaginable. At high-resolution (38 megapixel maximum) it means the ability to capture an image, then zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards to expose previously unseen levels of details”

The 808 PureView is expected the second quarter of 2012.

Update May; Nokia confirmed that the Nokia 808 PureView will start rolling out in select markets this month (May). The first markets to begin selling the Nokia 808 PureView include Russia and India.

An ARM 11 1,3 Ghz 1-core processor is less impressive, also hidden by Nokia in the long specs list 😉 .
