Google Wallet doesn’t work with NFC stickers
Despite earlier reports, NFC stickers are not a quick fix to make any phone work with Google Wallet. Theoretically, these stickers would add NFC support to non-NFC devices.
Google Wallet, is an Android app that lets you tap your phone against a payment terminal and immediately pay for an item. It uses near field communications (NFC) technology embedded in smartphones to transmit credit card information stored in your phone to a payment reader.
On day of launch (sept.2011), Google Wallet only works on one phone: the Nexus S Phone carried by Sprint , although the spokesperson said Google was talking to carriers about adding upcoming NFC-enabled smartphones.
